Job Overview

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic entry-level Boardroom Attendant with barista skills to provide professional catering assistance. As a Boardroom Attendant, you will be involved in various aspects of food and beverage services, including coordinating meeting rooms, espresso coffee making, basic food preparation, and delivering high-end hospitality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high standard of food and beverage delivery, including espresso coffee-making and prompt service.
  • Assist in the pack-down of the daily Café and provide boardroom services for late client meetings, after-hours meals, and ad-hoc team gatherings.
  • Clean, restock, and service the Café, including staff kitchens and meeting areas.
  • Setup, pack-down, and service client meeting rooms, including audio-visual equipment.
  • Provide professional waiting service for various events, including boardroom meetings, formal and informal lunches, cocktail events, and firm-wide morning teas.
  • Handle daily staff lunch deliveries, food re-heating, and preparation as required.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Catering Client Service Team Leader.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Recent graduate from a recognized hospitality training college or experience in a hospitality/corporate boardroom environment (desirable).
  • Excellent grooming and presentation.
  • High level of commitment to delivering excellent and quality customer services.
  • Sense of urgency and effective time management skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with staff at all levels.
  • High level of attention to detail, including when cleaning and servicing staff kitchens.
  • Friendly and energetic attitude.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
  • Barista training.
