Role Overview:

The Catering Coordinator will provide top-notch catering and service functions, ensuring excellent customer service for clients, visitors, and internal staff. The role involves managing event catering, maintaining high standards in meeting rooms, and supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Barista and Catering Support:
    • Serve tea and coffee to staff and clients in meeting rooms.
    • Order and manage catering for meetings.
    • Ensure timely setup and clearance of meeting rooms.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Manage catering needs for various events.
    • Hire, train, and manage outsourced staff.
    • Coordinate event timelines and budgets.
    • Gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • General Duties:
    • Ensure food safety and WH&S standards.
    • Handle ordering, stock management, and invoices.
    • Maintain staff kitchens and reheat kitchen hygiene.
    • Provide reception cover as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
  • Current RSA competency card and Food Handling Safety certificate.
  • First Aid qualifications and Warden experience are highly regarded.
