Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with all Health and Safety procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food allergens and dietary requirements to ensure food safety.
- Report all accidents and incidents promptly to the Executive Chef or Manager on Duty.
- Train new kitchen staff in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Ensure all staff have and maintain Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) certification.
- Manage staff attendance, following proper reporting procedures for lateness or absences.
- Handle any customer complaints or comments in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring the Executive Chef is informed.
- Ensure high standards of employee conduct, including maintaining uniform standards and personal hygiene.
- Collaborate with other departments when necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements:
