We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chief Steward to lead and manage an extensive team of kitchen hands and supervisors. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas are impeccably maintained, safe, and compliant with HACCP procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the cleaning and maintenance of multiple outlets across various sites.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a large team of kitchen hands and supervisors.
- Develop and manage staff rosters to ensure efficient coverage and service.
- Maintain strict control of stock levels, ensuring all supplies are ordered and managed effectively.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on team performance, stock usage, and compliance.
- Ensure all areas are compliant with HACCP and other relevant safety and hygiene certifications.
- Foster a culture of safety, cleanliness, and teamwork within the department.
- Communicate professionally with all levels of staff, both in person and via email.
