Role Overview:
As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in leading our client’s culinary team to success.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Seasonal Focus: Creating innovative menus that highlight seasonal produce and reflect current food trends.
  • Member-Centric Approach: Putting our client’s members at the forefront of everything you do, ensuring their dining experiences exceed expectations.
  • Collaboration:¬†Working closely with the Senior Management team to foster a culture of respect, collaboration and solutions focus to implement Strategic Plan initiatives.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Being able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and demands, particularly during events and peak periods.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Leading by example, providing positive coaching and mentorship to our client’s culinary team.
  • Quality Control: Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation, consistently delivering upscale casual dining experiences.
  • Dietary Awareness: Being knowledgeable about various dietary requirements and accommodating them seamlessly in menu planning and execution.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with members to understand their preferences and feedback, fostering a collaborative approach to menu development.
  • Organization and Time Management: Demonstrating strong organizational skills to manage kitchen operations efficiently, including event planning and execution.
  • Team Building: Opportunity to build and lead your own culinary team, ensuring cohesion and excellence in execution.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar dining environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A positive temperament and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends for events.
  • A passion for quality food and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
