Are you a hands-on hospitality leader looking for a unique and rewarding role? We are seeking an experienced Hotel & Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our beautifully restored 22-room boutique hotel and 50-seat Italian restaurant in stunning Gippsland, Victoria.
About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while managing both the hotel and restaurant. This is a hands-on role in a small team, where you will be actively involved in all aspects of the business, from front-of-house service and compliance to financial management and guest relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily hotel and restaurant operations, ensuring top-tier service.
- Be a visible leader in the restaurant, particularly during evening service.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage bookings, reservations, and front desk operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations (RSA required).
- Monitor financial performance, control costs, and contribute to business growth.
- Lead and support a small team, fostering a calm and positive work environment.
- Assist with marketing, promotions, and guest engagement initiatives.

- A calm and composed leader, able to work under pressure.
- Financially savvy with an understanding of budgeting and cost control.
- Knowledge of compliance and licensing regulations (RSA certification required).
