An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to join a premium hotel dining operation in the heart of Launceston.
Our client operates a highly regarded restaurant, café and bar with a strong focus on Tasmanian produce, local wine and quality hospitality. We are looking for a hands-on hospitality leader who can drive service standards, develop the team and deliver an outstanding guest experience.
This role would suit an experienced Restaurant Manager, Venue Manager or a strong Assistant Restaurant Manager ready to take the next step.
The Role
Working as the 2IC to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day operation across restaurant, café, bar and events.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating the front-of-house team
- Overseeing breakfast, lunch and dinner services
- Maintaining high standards of service and guest experience
- Training, coaching and developing team members
- Assisting with rostering, ordering and stock control
- Supporting events and functions
- Ensuring RSA, safety and operational compliance
- Stepping into the F&B Manager role when required
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Leadership experience within a restaurant, bar, hotel or premium hospitality venue
- Strong people management and communication skills
- A genuine passion for food, wine and customer service
- Experience with rostering, stock control and daily operations
- Current RSA
- Flexibility across mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
