We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Sous Chef to support their Head Chef in delivering high-quality dishes. This is a full-time role with a flexible roster between Monday and Sunday, requiring 38 hours per week. The start date is ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation
- Manage kitchen staff and foster a positive team environment
- Contribute to menu development and innovation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a high-standard establishment, such as hatted restaurant
- Flexibility with working days and hours, as the roster changes weekly
- A can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Middle Eastern cuisine experience is a plus, but not essential
- Desire to work in the Yarra Valley for a better work-life balance
