Your Role

As Sous Chef – Banquets, you’ll be the right hand to our senior kitchen leadership. You’ll ensure the seamless execution of banquets, conferences, weddings, and special events, consistently delivering top-tier culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all banquet kitchen operations

  • Ensure all food service adheres to 5-star standards and HACCP guidelines

  • Oversee mise en place, buffet preparation, and canapé production

  • Mentor and manage the banquets kitchen team, fostering growth and performance

  • Collaborate with senior chefs on menu planning and logistics for large functions


About You

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 1 year in a similar Sous Chef role or 3 years as a Chef de Partie

    • 2–5 years’ experience in a Hotel or Resort environment (operational or managerial level)

    • Proven experience handling high-volume banquet or event catering

  • Qualifications:

    • Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery

    • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

    • Strong background in HACCP and food safety compliance

  • Traits:
