The Role
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver an outstanding dining experience. This position requires strong leadership, refined culinary skills, and a commitment to innovation and quality.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your section and ensuring seamless kitchen operations
- Upholding best practices in food hygiene, health, and safety
- Assisting with menu development, recipe creation, and product knowledge
- Collaborating with the front-of-house team to enhance service delivery
- Leading, mentoring, and developing junior chefs
- Maintaining a positive and harmonious kitchen environment
- Managing high-pressure service periods with composure and efficiency
- Providing feedback to the Head Chef to continuously improve kitchen operations

Requirements
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
- Minimum three years of experience in a premium, high-paced restaurant
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transport
