Your Role:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including rostering, inventory, and equipment upkeep.

  • Work alongside the Head Chef on menu development, team training, and solving day-to-day challenges.

  • Champion food quality, presentation, and consistency.

  • Inspire and mentor your team—lead by example in both service and standards.

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and skill development for kitchen staff.

  • Streamline kitchen systems to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

  • Collaborate on pricing, promotions, and service strategies with management.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Solid cooking experience and relevant culinary training.

  • Seafood knowledge is a big plus, but not essential.

  • A natural leader with great communication and team management skills.

  • Someone who thrives under pressure and brings a calm, solutions-focused mindset.

  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
