Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including staff management, shift scheduling, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Assist the Head Chef in menu development, staff training, and problem-solving.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Lead by example, mentoring and motivating the kitchen team.
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of new team members.
- Manage kitchen operations, including scheduling and inventory control to reduce waste.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with restaurant management on pricing, promotions, and food service strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous cooking experience with some formal training is essential.
- Experience working with seafood is highly desirable but not required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Passion for food, creativity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
- Ability to work day or night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
