About the Role
We require a hands-on Food & Beverage Floor Supervisor for an ongoing assignment with one of our top corporate clients based in the Melbourne CBD.
We are looking for a polished, well-presented hospitality professional who has solid hospitality experience in a corporate setting.
Key duties will include:
Provide F&B services (tea/coffee/breakfast/lunch/dinner) in a timely, highly efficient and effective manner; serve at fine dining events.
Complete room set up /pack down for all client and customer meetings and ensure furniture is provided to comply with individual requirements.
Monitor and update Booking system to reflect changes eg increase / decrease in attendees and associated catering requirements; review daily operating reports to gauge workflow and confirm associated recharges to customers and clients.
Liaise with Manager, F&B to ensure effective transition between daily shifts, eg last minute bookings.
Determine stock requirements e.g., milk, coffee, linen, beverages etc and advise Team Leader and/or process orders.
Clean equipment (fridges, coffee machines etc) and restock all staff community rooms.
Support and direct the F&B team in the absence of the Team Leader e.g., leave, training, shift patterns.
To be considered for the role MUST have the following:
Demonstrated FOH Supervisor experience in a similar environment such as corporate client floors, boardrooms, high end restaurants
Ability to manage a small team of up to 10 people
Excellent client service skills, always demonstrating professionalism & courtesy
Computer literacy & knowledge of MS Office software
Current RSA Certificate for VIC
Current Police check
