Position Overview:

We’re seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of our client’s prestigious venue, renowned for its impeccable taste and innovation. This role encompasses oversight of the kitchen operations for both the Cafe and retail segment. The ideal candidate will uphold the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety, embodying and enhancing our venue’s vision, mission, and esteemed reputation.

Credentials Required:

  • Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery
  • Extensive experience in Commercial Kitchens
  • Proven ability in managing teams.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and Retail Food Safety Standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
  • Document, follow, and refine recipes and food presentation.
  • Ensure efficient kitchen operations through effective scheduling and routines.
  • Maintain operation manuals for recipes, procedures, and batch control..
  • Oversee HACCP controls, batch monitoring, and food production traceability.
  • Manage rosters, shifts, and authorizations..
  • Uphold strict food handling and safety protocols.
  • Optimize costs, sourcing, and waste management.
  • Handle customer inquiries and orders related to food and catering.
  • Resolve issues to uphold our standards.
