Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of culinary professionals to consistently deliver high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations.
  • Develop creative and seasonal menus that showcase local produce and reflect the unique flavors of the Yarra Valley region.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to curate exceptional dining experiences for hotel guests and patrons.
  • Manage inventory, control food costs, and optimize kitchen processes to maximize profitability.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, creativity, and professional growth among kitchen staff.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel environment.
  • Extensive culinary expertise with a strong focus on contemporary and seasonal cuisine.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team of chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
