Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in food preparation processes, ensuring efficiency and excellence daily.
- Innovate and develop menu items, recipes, and dishes that prioritize variety, inclusivity, quality, freshness, and nutrition.
- Manage food inventory, including stocking, ordering, and rotation, while maintaining vendor relationships.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, adhering to food safety and hygiene practices.
- Lead initiatives to manage kitchen waste streams and promote sustainability.
- Document recipes and quantities to facilitate operational scalability.
- Support team-wide events and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Cert 3 or higher or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation in the kitchen.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ever-evolving work environment.
