Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in food preparation processes, ensuring efficiency and excellence daily.
  • Innovate and develop menu items, recipes, and dishes that prioritize variety, inclusivity, quality, freshness, and nutrition.
  • Manage food inventory, including stocking, ordering, and rotation, while maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations, adhering to food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Lead initiatives to manage kitchen waste streams and promote sustainability.
  • Document recipes and quantities to facilitate operational scalability.
  • Support team-wide events and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Cert 3 or higher or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation in the kitchen.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ever-evolving work environment.
